EventScotland has recently established its Special Projects Team who are responsible for the delivery of funding programmes and initiatives which are not covered by the established International and National Events programmes.

Gayle manages the delivery of the PR and marketing for Special Projects, and prior to this role was PR Manager for Homecoming Scotland 2009.

Prior to EventScotland, Gayle worked for 6 years as a Senior PR Executive in the UK Consumer PR team at VisitScotland. She has won a variety of CIPR awards including the CIPR Gold award for Best Campaign and Best Overall Campaign in 2007 for her work on the White Campaign. She has also been a regular contributor to The Scotsman Newspaper with her Nature Diary column.
