Stuart joined the team in November 2011 and is responsible for initiating, developing and implementing an integrated PR strategy for EventScotland. This includes overseeing monitoring and evaluation systems, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations and the media.

Prior to EventScotland, Stuart worked with sportscotland for 2 years and supported Commonwealth Games Scotland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, and the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games in the Isle of Man. He previously worked for Burt Greener Communications, a PR agency representing some iconic Scottish brands including IRN-BRU, T In-the Park and Tennent’s. Stuart has a degree in journalism, and has worked as a freelance arts, music and sports writer for the past five years.

Stuart was recently named as one of PR Week’s ’29 under 29’ for 2011, which recognises the UK’s top PRO’s under the age of 29.
