Big Burns Supper 2016 will be one of Scotland’s biggest, best and most fun winter festivals with headline acts including The Bay City Rollers, The Beat, Black Grape Eddi Reader and Jason Byrne.
It’s celebrating its fifth birthday with nine days of music (trad, rock, pop and folk), comedy, cabaret and carnival in Dumfries from 22 to 30 January – taking in Burns Night on the 25th.
Highlights include the annual Burns Carnival on Sunday, January 24, which will bring thousands onto the streets of the Bard’s favourite town for a lantern-lit procession. There is also Le Haggis, the cheeky award-winning Caledonian cabaret, which took this year’s Edinburgh Fringe by storm.
