
The Scottish Touch Association will host the Federation of International Touch World Cup in 2011. The tournament will be held in Edinburgh, the first time the World Cup has been held in Europe. Touch rugby is one of the fastest growing participation sports in the UK and Europe. It is played in leagues and competitions across Scotland and this event attracts some of the world’s best players. It is estimated that 60 teams from over 20 countries, including New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, will take part.
