Back for a second year but bigger and better! 3 days of celebrating our rich fishing community, industry, culture and heritage. The Seafood Festival will once again be held at the Greenbelt, Prestonpans and will host a plethora of seafood culinary delights. The arena will host up to 30 seafood related stalls – freshly caught seafood, cooked seafood and other food and drink stalls that directly relate to seafood – fishing tackle, vegetables and wine to eat and drink with seafood; it will also host an art exhibition and arts n crafts marquee, all selling handmade goods and childrens workshops – again all relating to the sea and seafood – this enhances our motto – Art in Unusual Places.
The music tent will feature some top bands and showcase local young bands and talent, as well as providing an opportunity for local community groups to take to the stage on the Sunday – this includes drama, storytelling and dance.
Kite Scotland return providing us with a superb visual display and encourage you to bring your own kites, a possible doggie crèche and an exotic seafish competition.
