The 2010 Bupa Great Edinburgh Run has a new home starting and finishing in the beautiful surroundings of Holyrood Park, Edinburgh on Sunday 2nd May. The route will cross the Forecourt of the historic Holyrood Palace by kind permission of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The popular 10km running event is suitable for people of all running abilities aged 15 years and over and boasts a world-class 10km run course, which includes landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scott Monument and the Royal Mile.
Entries are now open for The Bupa Great Edinburgh Run Business Challenge which invites small, medium and large businesses to take part in the event as part of a team.
Not only do you get the chance to earn bragging right against other businesses it’s a very cost effective team building exercise and this year there is a £1,000 prize for the overall winning team to donate to a charity of their choice.
Other prizes include the winner’s trophy which is engraved and passed on every year to the overall winning team in each category and the top three teams in each category will receive an engraved plaque to keep.
