There really is something for everyone over the four days. From traditional folk music in a very unusual venue to side-splitting comedy, via a gastronomic adventure and a step back in time to an epic battle.
The fantastic opening concert, St Andrew’s Day Trad Fest, takes place under the wings of Concorde at the National Museum of Flight. Award winning Scottish bands Breabach and Barluath perform with a stunning opening from East Lothian’s Massed Pipes and Drums.
The Festival boasts more big names like one of Scotland’s best-known voices, Eddi Reader, and one of our home-grown comics, Craig Hill.
The Saltire After Dark events include twilight golf with LED balls at Musselburgh Links, the world’s oldest golf course; a Candelight Concert with Rura & Joy Dunlop and for thrill seekers, an opportunity to fly through the forrest at Foxlake Adventures, Dunbar on their zip wire.
