This year's games will see 1,400 athletes with intellectual disabilities from across Great Britain and international programmes compete in a range of sports and events.

Founded in 1968, Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organisation for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

This years games are held in Stirling from 9 - 13 August with 1400 athletes with intellectual disabilities taking part.

Athletes will attend from across the GB and European countries for 3 days of competition, competing in 9 different sports.
