Now in its 25th year, the Jura Music Festival is a well-established favourite for lovers of the traditional music scene. From the locals’ Friday night ceilidh through to the Sunday night concert in the distillery co-operage, enjoy a weekend packed with fantastic performances, stimulating workshops, spontaneous sessions and great craic!
In celebration of Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018, ten local school aged between 5 to 11 have been taking music classes, via video link, with graduates of the Glasgow Royal conservatoire’s, Traditional Music course. They will then end their semester by showcasing their work with their debut at this year’s festival.
