The Ayr Flower Show is Scotland’s premier horticultural event, often referred to as the Chelsea of the North. Held in the beautiful setting of Rozelle Estate with its feature trees, ponds, woodland walks and the glorious Rozelle Mansion House and Galleries, the event draws thousands of visitors from all over Scotland and beyond. 2010’s will see a wealth of exhibits for the amateur, professional, and non gardener alike. This includes a range of competitive horticultural classes such as cut flowers, vegetables, and floral arranging.
The event will also feature local designers’ show gardens as well as pallet garden displays and a children’s flower show for up and coming enthusiasts. Local food and producers will be showcased at the event along with Gardener’s Question Time sessions and beekeeping exhibits. Along with all this there will be the change to see Birds of prey, play junior golf, enjoy a variety of musical and dance entertainment which runs throughout the show.
