Marymass Festival takes place annually in Irvine. The history of the Festival can be traced back over nearly 1,000 years and like Irvine itself the Festival is steeped in traditions. Today’s festival takes place over 12 days in August attracting audiences of up to 50,000. Highlights of the festival programme include the  Music Festival, Folk Festival, Festival of Light Procession, Fireworks Display, Marymass Parade, Sports Events and community event fringe programme.
