Moray 2014  includes a programme of sporting and cultural events focusing on the different nations competing at the Commonwealth Games. Art visits and Mudra (Indian Dance) Workshops will take place within 8 primary schools between 29th September and 5th October. Pupils will learn about their chosen commonwealth country.
Between 1- 14 October Schools will be invited to suggest meals from Commonwealth countries that can be incorporated in to the school meals programme during October. On 6 October a traditional Indian Dance - Kathakali will be performed by the Kala Chethena Kathakali Company. 9th October will see a mountain bike competition taking place at Whiteash in Lochaber. Sports Festivals will be held across Moray between 11 -14 October consisting of sports which will feature in the Glasgow 2014 Games and between 12 - 18 October video recording and art pieces created throughout the Moray 2014 festival will be on display at the Moray Arts Centre based at Findhorn.
