The Royal Highland Show is Scotland's farming and countryside showcase. With a history dating back to 1822, the annual showcase has developed into one of Scotland's most popular events.

The 2010 event, which is funded through EventScotland's Food and Drink programme, features a cookery theatre which showcases the exploits of some of Scotland's finest chefs. Headlining the cookery theatre are Michelin starred chef Tony Borthwick and award-winning cook and food writer Lady Claire MacDonald.
