Enjoy a variety of St Andrew’s Day and Scottish themed events. Foodies can shop at the St Andrew’s farmers market; school children can showcase their skills at the Alternative Highland Games; and, unique to Renfrewshire, families can take part in creative play and dance at the St Andrew’s Day Baby Ceilidh.

Aimed at families with children 0-5 years, to celebrate St Andrews day and participate in creative play. The DJ will use contemporary Scottish rock & pop, as the background for dancing and games. There will also be a dedicated arts and digital animation space with workshop facilitators, who will encourage families to create a frieze and digital image of their own personal interpretation of St. Andrew's Day.

Alternative Highland Games
Involving local schools (49 schools have been invited to participate, games include: tossing the caber, welly throw, putting the neep, 3 legged race, relay race, tug of war.
Finals will be held in Lagoon Leisure Centre, Paisley on 30 November, all competitors will receive a medal at the finals. Spectators are welcome at the heats and the finals.
