The 17th annual World Porridge Making Championships takes place in the Highland village of Carrbridge. Taking place on World Porridge Day the event features an international field of chefs all competing for the prestigious Golden Spurtle Trophy awarded to the competitor producing the best traditional porridge, made from oatmeal.
