The 19th edition of the Cleveland Golf/Srixon Scottish Senior Open from August 19-21 will see former Ryder Cup player Barry Lane defend his title at Fairmont St Andrews. Lane completed a unique Scottish double 22 years after landing his maiden European Tour title in the Home of Golf 22 years previously. He will be joined by leading European Senior Tour professionals in the 54-hole tournament over the Torrance Course, which was designed by former Ryder Cup Captain Sam Torrance.
Fairmont St Andrews is hosting the tournament for the third consecutive year, with Englishman Glenn Ralph capturing the title in 2009. Torrance is also a former champion after winning the title in 2006 and he will be spearhead the Scottish challenge.
