The popular Burnsfest programme celebrates Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns.

Events include Supper with Burns – an alternative Burns Supper serving up a delicious 3-course Scottish dinner and a generous helping of Burns’ stories, song and lore; An Evening with Burns and Gow, a joyous evening of traditional fiddle music alongside some new folk and blues interpretations of Burns’ poetry in song; It’s in the Bag – an award-winning company taking children’s imaginations on a storytelling adventure; Fringe sell-out 2014 Burns for Beginners, poems and songs performed to a cracking live musical accompaniment with discussion and English subtitles; Café Ceilidh; and Guid Crack: Tongue in Cheek, Edinburgh’s monthly storytelling night for adults featuring wise-cracking puppets.
