Scotland's Big Nature Festival

Levenhall Links, Musselburgh

Scotland’s BIG nature festival is back on 23-24 May at Levenhall Links, Musselburgh on the outskirts of Edinburgh!

There’s loads to keep wildlife enthusiasts and families entertained all weekend with special guests including Bill Oddie – TV wildlife presenter, Sir John Lister-Kaye – renowned conservationist and Euan McIlwraith broadcaster from BBC Radio Scotland's Out of Doors programme.

This award-winning RSPB Scotland festival boasts a packed programme covering specialist wildlife talks, walks and demos, children’s activities for all ages including storytelling, puppet shows, bug bioblitz, pond dipping, willow weaving and loads more ways to give your intrepid wildlife explorers a really wild day out!

This year RSPB Scotland has teamed up with East Lothian Council and more than 100 exhibitors to offer the latest wildlife technology, fantastic science, art, books, food and much more.

Visitors can enjoy great, locally-sourced artisan food and drink and a farmers market as well as live music until 7pm on Saturday 23rd.

Wildlife boat trips are also on offer to see the puffin colonies on the Firth Of Forth. Levenhall Links is a fantastic open space overlooking the Firth of Forth and it attracts a vast array of seabirds, ducks and waders while being part of the John Muir Way.

Get there greener in association with East Lothian Council -  join a free led cycle from Edinburgh, try our free bike hire from Musselburgh station, or hop on the free shuttle bus!
