Purpose of EventScotland funding	`The National Events Programme is a development programme and seeks to support strategic activity designed to grow events in terms of visitor numbers and/or media profile. The overall objective is to support domestic tourism and increase the economic impact of events out with Glasgow and Edinburgh. For more information on the criteria and the type of activity eligible for support please refer to the programme guidelines.`
