Scotland Food and Drink encourages Scots everywhere to take the 'Eat Scottish' pledge

During Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight, Scotland food and Drink, the Scottish food industry’s lead organisation, will be encouraging Scots to take the ‘Eat Scottish’ pledge and pile their plates with delicious Scottish produce.

By pledging to enjoy only home-grown food and drink for a day, a week or even the whole fortnight, Scots will not only be eating Scottish, they will be eating well.  Whether it’s trying out exciting new flavours or revisiting old favourites, with some of the best natural produce in the world and a diverse range of locally sourced food and drink, we’re spoilt for choice in Scotland.

Throughout the Fortnight, celebrity chefs, foodies and culinary enthusiasts will be taking the pledge and sharing some of their favourite Scottish recipes to give fellow pledgers a little bit of inspiration.
