We are delighted to announce Paolo Nutini as our Friday night headliner at Loopallu this year. With sell-out shows and festival appearances throughout the world and second album ‘Sunny Side Up’ debuting at number 1 in the UK charts earlier this year, Paolo is set to raise the roof of the Loopallu Big Top. His appearance at the ‘little fest in the west’ is set to be a late contender for highlight of this years festival calendar.
“Paolo wanted to play because he is the kind of guy who doesn’t forget people who have helped him out. Back when Paolo was about 16, Robert (Loopallu festival director) gave him gigs all over the north of Scotland when it was hard to get gigs, just because he liked the music and is always keen to help new acts. So the chance to return the favour was too good to miss, seeing one of the biggest artists in Europe right now in a tent playing to 2500 people will be great for fans.” Paolo’s manager Brendan Moon
The ‘Little Fest in the West’ has built up an amazing reputation over the past five years, becoming the perfect way to say farewell to the festival season.
