Discounted advance tickets go on sale for Fort William spectacular.
With just under six months to go until the SPEA FIM Trial World Championship re-visits these shores, preparations are already well underway to build on the huge success of last year’s inaugural event that took place in the shadow of Ben Nevis. Once again the unrivalled venue at Nevis Range, just outside Fort William in the Scottish Highlands will provide the incredible setting for the British leg of this prestigious World series, as the planet’s best riders look to pit their skills against what is regarded as the best trials terrain known to man.
Tickets for the event that will be held over the last weekend of July are now on sale, with advance purchasers once again set to benefit from discounted prices that will not be available on the gate. An advance two-day adult ticket to cover Saturday’s packed programme of additional activities ahead of Sunday’s main competition costs just £25 and also includes a two-day gondola pass, which would normally cost £22 on its own. Children aged under five remain free of charge, whilst an advance two-day ticket with full gondola access for 5-15 year olds is priced at only £15. This same reduced rate also applies to OAP visitors.
As per last year on site VIP car parking will be available to all advance ticket buyers, however this must be purchased at the same time as ordering entrance tickets. Only a limited number of on site parking passes are available which are priced at £20 for the two-days. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
For those looking for a more complete VIP experience, on offer are two-day Platinum tickets that include priority on site parking, access to the private hospitality area - where food and drink will be served throughout the event, a reserved viewing area, a complimentary copy of the event programme and other benefits that are usually restricted to the main event sponsors and special invited guests of the promoter. Limited to only fifty places, the cost for a two-day Platinum pass is £99.00.
Speaking about the forthcoming event, Jake Miller of L+M Events said. “Although last year’s event was a massive success, we still learned a lot from our first experience at this new venue. We have taken this fully on board, and are confident we can deliver an even better event this time around.”
“We also believe that the advance ticket prices and the shorter length of the event will make the whole experience more affordable for fans and families,” Miller continued. “With this year’s event falling in the English school holidays, the pre-demand for tickets is far higher at this stage than it was twelve months ago, so everything is looking good for a great weekend of sporting entertainment.”
Jake ended by saying. “Ask anyone who made the journey north last summer, and they will confirm without a second breath that this is an absolute ‘not to be missed an event’, and one that they will be back at again this year.”
