The entries have been received for this year’s Blair Castle International Horse Trials (18-21 August 2011), and the roll call boasts some of the world’s leading riders. British team stalwart and four-time Blair winner William Fox-Pitt will be hotly tipped in the Barclays Wealth CCI3* class, with both Avoca Alibi and Parklane Hawk in the running. His Team GB teammate Nicola Wilson takes up the reins on a new ride, the former Ian Stark mount Looks Similar, whilst Oliver Townend and Daisy Berkeley both bring up and coming horses in McKenzie and Brigadier respectively.
Leading overseas riders include Kiwi favourite and World Equestrian Games bronze medallist Andrew Nicholson, who rides Shady Grey and Calico Joe, Irish Olympian Mark Kyle, with Willow Fairgreen Attraction, and triple Olympic gold medallist for Australia, Andrew Hoy, riding Rutherglen.
