British rapper Professor Green and Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé will be giving an exclusive performance at this year’s MOBO Awards in association with Lebara Mobile which will be returning to Glasgow’s SECC on 5th October.
The duo will treat the Glasgow audience to a unique performance of their new track Read All About It which is released next month. The chart topping pair will be joined on stage by a string quartet which will be sure to make for a show stopping performance.
Emeli Sandé will perform her first solo single Heaven, which scored her a number two hit earlier this year. Furthermore, Emeli is hoping to pick up her first MOBO Award on the night as she is nominated for the Best Newcomer in association with Lebara Mobile, which fans can vote for on the official MOBO Facebook page.
MOBO will also pay respect to the late Amy Winehouse with a special tribute led by Amy’s goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield. Dionne, the 15 year old who is nominated for the Best UK R&B/Soul Act, will perform a specially selected Amy song as MOBO remember and honour her unique, soulful contribution to music.
