Aberfeldy is now bracing itself for the influx of over 110 rally crews and their support teams from all four corners of the UK this coming weekend. Also the spectacle of the UK’s top club rally drivers will attract rally fans in their thousands.
There are two main treats in store for the fans this weekend as the Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally on Saturday 1st October will be the final round of both the RAC MSA Scottish Rally Championship and the Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship.
This will be the first time that contenders in the Dunlop/Wonago MSA British Historic Rally Championship will compete over gravel stages in Scotland as the championship makes its debut on Scottish soil.
Over the last two months, the leading crews have competed on the asphalt closed roads of Ulster and Flanders in Belgium, but now the focus switches back to gravel for the final event of the season, the first time on gravel since the Severn Valley Stages in Wales in early June.
