We have a thrilling programme of entertainment lined up to accompany the speakers at this year’s conference.
The Scottish Youth Theatre will give a rendition of their acclaimed short play Geordie first performed in 2008. Based on David Walker’s novel, Geordie is the comic and touching story set pre-WWII of a young Scottish boys’ journey to overcome adversity and achieve greatness at the Olympics. Later on you will experience the fantastic #1 Blud, a dynamic street dance group from Glasgow.
The venue for the day is the recently opened Emirates Arena which is already home to a world class sporting events programme including the UCI Track Cycling World Cup (16 - 18 November) and the planned site of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Lunch will be served in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome where the Scottish Cycling’s Performance Squad will give you a flavour of this exhilarating sport with a display of different track cycling styles.
A drinks reception and networking opportunities will round off this inspirational day.
