Great Scottish Swim to be biggest open water swimming event in Scotland

New for 2013, an expected 2,000 participants will make the Great Scottish Swim the biggest open water swimming event in Scotland. Held for the first time in the majestic surroundings of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, 40 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre, swimmers can choose from 1/2 mile, 1 mile and 2 mile swims with participants seting off in waves of approximately 300 every half an hour.

If you're looking for the ultimate in revitalising weekends, it doesn't get much better than spending it in the open water of Loch Lomond and its fun-filled shores.
