SEFA Glasgow Event: The Impacts and Legacy of the Commonwealth Games.

Scottish Events and Festivals Association

Wednesday 19th November from 18:00 - 21:00

Following the success of Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth games, SEFA is bringing together some of the key people involved in the delivery of the games to discuss the game’s legacy and impact on Glasgow and the wider Scottish event industry.

Presentations and a panel discussion will allow attendees the opportunity to gain further insight into the long term impacts (economic, social, cultural and environmental) that hosting the games can have on the city and if, and how, the event industry can benefit.

The Speakers

Scott Taylor, Chief Executive, Glasgow City Marketing Bureau

Stuart Turner, Events Director, EventScotland

Paul Zealey, Head of Engagement and Legacy at Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games

Ian Hooper, Director of Sport and Special Projects, Glasgow Life
