GENERATION – 25 YEARS OF CONTEMPORARY ART IN SCOTLAND 
Over the summer months GENERATION has seen thousands of visitors explore the work of more than 100 of Scotland’s most celebrated contemporary visual artists at more than 60 venues across the nation.  
In the year in which Scotland has taken centre stage with the Year of Homecoming and hosts two of the sporting world’s most significant events, GENERATION has showcased Scotland’s position as global leader in the field of contemporary visual art. Here are just some of the exhibitions to be enjoyed in the coming weeks:  
Douglas Gordon at Caithness Horizons, Thurso (until 11 October)
Urban/Suburban at City Art Centre, Edinburgh (until 19 October)
Scotland + Venice, Duncan Campbell, Common Guild, Glasgow (20 September to 25 October)
Refractory and Refrigeration, John Shankie, Park Gallery, Falkirk (until 26 October)
The Singing of Swans, Kenny Hunter, Paxton House, Berwick upon Tweed (until 31 October)
Stare, Moyna Flannigan at GoMA, Glasgow (until 2 November)
Black Sea, White Sea, Louise Hopkins, Lithlithgow Burgh Halls (until 2 November)
Work of various artists including Stephen Campbell, Martin Boyce and Christine Borland at the Scottish National Gallery, Edinburgh (until 2 November)
