Now in its 21st year, the Dundee Flower and Food Festival is Dundee’s biggest event, and the main competitive horticultural event on the east coast. Taking place from 4th - 6th September at Camperdown Country Park, EventScotland’s funding will be used to attract additional visitors to the Festival in this special Year of Homecoming, and to drive a Waste Awareness Campaign.
Paul Bush OBE, Chief Operating Officer at EventScotland, the national events agency, said: “Dundee Flower and Food Festival is a fantastic event not only for Dundee, but for the whole of the east coast of Scotland. The event serves as a vehicle to showcase the best Scotland has to offer in terms of both horticulture and food, and brings thousands of exhibitors and spectators to the area every year.
