Top quality entry for inaugural Rally of Scotland

Today Wednesday, November 4th, sees the official media day of the RACMSA Rally of Scotland, last round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC), to be held from 19th – 21st November. The event is being unveiled at the Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow and introduced by Scottish triple world F1 champion, Sir Jackie Stewart.

Entries now stand at almost 60, with more than 30 international entries received, covering eight vehicle manufacturers. Leading names that have entered include 2009 IRC Drivers’ Champion - and factory Peugeot driver - Kris Meeke, Scotland’s Alister McRae in a semi-works Proton Satria and Scottish favourite, David Bogie, in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. A second Peugeot 207 S2000 has also been entered by the BF Goodrich Drivers Team. The winner of that drive will be announced later this week.
