The MOBO Awards took place in Glasgow on Wednesday 30th September to a 7,000 capacity audience. The prestigious awards, one of the most highly anticipated events in Scotland’s calendar this year, went with a bang at the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre (SECC) with stars turning out in force to celebrate their craft and pay tribute to Michael Jackson, who was honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
Host La Toyah Jackson and her brother Jermaine accepted the award on behalf of their brother in an emotional dedication to his life and work. Other performers who took part in the night included Kelly Rowland and David Guetta, Tinchy Stryder and Britain’s Got Talent Winners, Diversity.
