The Scottish Thistle Awards deadline for entries has been extended from 2 March until Friday 9 March at 5pm.
Due to the high demand from the industry, and to support everyone who is working to complete their entries, the Scottish Thistle Awards deadline will be extended by an extra week. The extension covers the three regions of North East, Central South East and Central South West. Businesses entering the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards can do so as normal, with the deadline of 27 April.

The Scottish Thistle Awards are designed to discover and celebrate excellence and innovation by the Scottish tourism industry for our visitors. We encourage businesses to be proud of their achievements and to share ideas and best practice by entering the Scottish Thistle Awards 2012.

Entry to the awards is FREE for all eligible businesses.
The Scottish Thistle Awards are now based on regional champions from four areas around Scotland:
• Highlands and Islands
• North East
• South Central East
• South Central West
The regional finals will take place in May 2012. The winners from these regional awards will then go forward to the national awards which will take place in November 2012.
